DCH Summer Camp: For Campers Entering Kindergarten Through 6th grade

Important Notes

Financial aid funds for the 2026 season have been exhausted, and applications are now closed.

As of May 1, all new camp registrations must be paid in full at the time of registration. Payment plans are no longer available after this date.

Since 1924, DCH’s beloved summer camp has brought together children from Dedham, Boston, Norwood, Westwood, Needham, and beyond for traditional summer camp activities.

DCH Summer Camp offers children ages five through 11 (entering Kindergarten through 6th grade) the quintessential camp experience in convenient Dedham Square.  Our gorgeous campus and pool provide a fun, safe, and enriching summer camp environment. Each camp day has traditional arts and crafts, sports, games, drama, swimming, and more.

CIT Program (14 and 15 year olds)

The Counselor In Training program is an exceptional opportunity for 14 and 15 years old who are eager to step into a leadership role but not quite old enough to be a counselor. CITs spend their summer enjoying the activities alongside the campers while learning critical leadership skills from staff and counselors.

The CIT Program begins with team-building and leadership activities before participants move on to shadow camp counselors, program specialists, and lifeguards. The program allows teens to build essential life skills like decision-making, collaboration, communication, and organization.

TREK Program Partnership

DCH will continue to partner with DPS to give a $100 discount per TREK week for campers in the TREK Program. Once you have registered for both programs please contact dwalsh@dchma.org with your TREK receipt to be refunded the $100.

We believe that camp is more than just a place for children to hang out during the summer–it’s an experience that can shape a child for the rest of their life. At DCH Summer Camp, your children will create core memories, make lifelong friends, and learn key skills.
