About DCH Preschool Financial Assistance
DCH understands that families experience different financial circumstances, and we are committed to helping make our preschool programs as accessible as possible. Limited financial assistance is available for qualifying families and all applications are kept confidential.

Financial assistance is determined using a sliding scale based on household income, family size, and other relevant factors. Families receiving assistance are still responsible for contributing a portion of tuition costs.
Applications must include all required documentation and updated information each year. Once all materials are received, families typically receive a decision within approximately four weeks. Missing information may delay the review process. If we do not receive requested follow up information within 10 business days, the application and any related registration offer may be withdrawn.

Financial aid applications for the upcoming preschool year are typically accepted 60 to 90 days before the start of the new school year. For the 2026 to 2027 preschool year, applications opened prior to the program year beginning on June 29, 2026.

Because available funding is limited, submitting an application does not guarantee an award.

The financial aid cycle for the 2026 to 2027 preschool year has been completed. At this time, all available preschool financial assistance funds have been allocated. Families are still welcome to contact us with questions or to discuss future opportunities for assistance.
